About Hannah
Hannah Acar is a dedicated music educator with over 13 years of teaching experience in violin, piano, and singing. She has helped students of all ages and abilities develop their skills, gain confidence, and achieve their musical goals—whether for exams, performances, or personal enjoyment.
Hannah provides structured, personalised lessons tailored to each student’s learning style. With a 100% exam pass rate, she supports students through ABRSM and Trinity College exams, as well as those who simply wish to enjoy making music.
Alongside teaching, Hannah has a background in performance, songwriting, and recording. She has toured as a backing singer and violinist for Status Quo, performing at major venues including Glastonbury, the Royal Albert Hall, and BBC Radio 2 Live in Hyde Park. In 2019, she co-wrote and released the UK Country Chart #1 album ‘We Talk Too Much’ with Francis Rossi (Status Quo).
Her lessons offer a fun, supportive, and engaging environment where students can build technique, explore creativity, and enjoy learning music.
Lessons
I have been a professional singer, songwriter and musician for the last twelve years, working in a wide range of musical genres both live and in the studio. My knowledge of the music industry, versatility and, above all else, passion for music, feeds into my work as a teacher. I’m open and encouraging, and make lessons as fun, inspirational and interactive as possible. All ages and abilities are welcome and no prior experience is necessary. I can teach on a one-to-one basis or in small groups if preferred, and am able to travel if necessary (although I teach mostly from home).
Singing Lessons
Singing lessons are tailored to each students' particular needs and interests, and are designed to help you train, strengthen and control your voice. Stylistic musicianship

Violin Lessons
As an experienced and passionate violin teacher, I believe in an approach that gives students positive, constructive ways to learn. I design my lessons according to my students’ needs and experience, with an emphasis on technique, fun and confidence-boosting activities.
